Barbara Boissevain is a California based, renowned visual artist whose project Salt of the Earth documents the striking beauty and environmental changes of salt ponds along the San Francisco Bay. Through vibrant aerial, ground level and macro/underwater perspectives, she highlights the intersection of industry, ecology, and climate change, inviting viewers to consider the human impact on natural landscapes and in return, how nature regenerates and reclaims those altered landscapes. Barbara will be presenting her work and sharing the stories behind her captivating images—don’t miss this opportunity to explore her powerful perspective!

Alameda Point Photo Walk with East Bay Photo Collective
Join the East Bay Photo Collective (EBPCO) for a special photo walk exploring the unique landscapes of Alameda Point. Bring your camera and meet at the Info Booth at 4:30 for this guided 60-minute activity. Afterwards, gather at Almanac Brewing to share images and stories. Selected photographs from participants will be featured in the EBPCO online gallery. All cameras and experience levels welcome!

Head back stage at the DOER Marine shop and learn about their innovative technology, marine research and inspiring collaborative projects. Meet at the Info Booth at 1:45 PM or 3:45 PM to walk over to the DOER Marine Shop with the tour group. Tour is limited to 15 people, so please reserve your ticket through Eventbrite prior to the festival.

Create foam relief prints from recycled materials about your visions of a climate positive future. Your print will join others on a large scale communal printed quilt.
